With over 30 years experience in the Road Transport regulatory sector, Mike Oliver provides specialist support in goods/haulage, passenger & logistics. Covers licensing, inquiries, prosecutions and compliance.  I regularly represent operators, transport managers and drivers before Traffic Commissioners in every Traffic Area in England and Wales.  Formerly located in Bromley, Kent.

My breadth of experience across the road transport sector, goods, passenger and logistics - along with continuing close involvement with leading trade organisations, provides a unique insight into the diverse concerns and demands faced on a daily basis by those involved, from operators and transport managers to drivers and transport office staff.

I strive to develop and expand my involvement with the Road Transport sector, promoting and developing compliance standards and sector awareness (at all levels) of the legal and regulatory process, working to achieve this through improved levels of staff, driver and operator training and working with operators and stakeholders throughout this vital industry.

A summary health check or in depth compliance audit should provide the basis for a plan to achieve sustained regulatory compliance.  Advice upon compliance/due diligence and procedures, the need for awareness and other specialist training, identifying this monitoring and other checks required, all form part of an effective compliance strategy.  I can carry out these checks, recommend solutions and help with implementation.
